Simon Haslam's Oracle Fusion Middleware blog

Welcome to my Fusion Middleware administration blog

Well, I've finally succumbed to starting a blog discussing the work I do with Oracle Application Server and Fusion Middleware products. Not that the Oracle world really needs another blog, but it will make it easier for me to add the little snippets of news, technical tips and comment that I have been putting on the Veriton home page for a while.

My main areas of interest are:

  • High-availability clustered architectures for Oracle App Server, e.g. for call-centres or demanding web sites
  • The core JEE App Server: OC4J, ASC, OPMN, DMS
  • Identity Management: OID, SSO, WNA, etc
  • Application development and deployment: Java, Oracle ADF(BC4J), Oracle Reports, Oracle (XML)BI Publisher, PL/SQL
  • Cisco and F5 BigIP load balancers
  • Systems management including virtualisation

So that gives you a flavour of the sort of areas that I might get round to blogging about...
