Middleware

Veriton has a long history with Oracle Fusion Middleware, stretching back to OAS 4 in 2000. Simon Haslam, Veriton's founder, has an established reputation with the core products from the JEE server (OC4J and WebLogic Server), the identity management products such as OID, right through to reporting tools such as Oracle Reports.

With Oracle's acquisition of BEA, the next release, OFM 11g, promises to be the world's leading middleware platform.

Veriton provides consulting services, covering the following topics:

  • architecture planning,
  • hardware sizing,
  • installation and configuration help,
  • high availabilty installations and troubleshooting,
  • integration with other network components, such as load balancers, reverse proxies and firewalls,
  • advice on setting up test environments.

More recently we have been advising on performance and availability aspects of Oracle SOA Suite, especially BPEL Process Manager and ESB.

Simon is a regular conference speaker on Middleware topics in the UK and abroad. He is also Chair of the UKOUG App Server and Middleware Special Interest Group.
