WebLogic Benchmark 3 (15 June)

Oracle announced a new multi-node record WLS/db SPECjAppServer2004 record with the app-tier running on SPARC T2+. Interestingly flash storage was used for the database, a trend we're likely to see for all benchmarks now. See Oracle Press Release.

WebLogic Benchmark 2 (9 June)

Here's SPECjAppServer2004 record for WLS running on the a dual socket server with Intel X7560 (8 core, 2.26GHz) processors: Oracle Press Release.

WebLogic 11g Benchmark 1 (17 Mar)

Another SPECjAppServer2004 benchmark record: WLS 11g on a single server with 2 hex core Intel X5680 3.33GHz processors, with the same for the 11gR2 database. Notable is how fast the new 32nm 6 core (Westmere EP) chips must be, plus that the tests were run on Cisco's new UCS servers. See the Oracle Press Release.
