Latest WLS Benchmark

Oracle have published their latest Java application server benchmark. WebLogic Server 10.3 running on a server with two of the new Intel 5500 quad core processors (i.e. 8 cores in total) have achieved 7311.50 SPECjAppServer2004 Operations per Second. This compares favourably with previous benchmark results, for example 3340 JOPS for a server running Intel 5400 series processors (16 cores in total).
